Elmhurst Extended Care is a vibrant community of Elders assisted by a staff of Elder Care specialists dedicated
to providing the highest quality of care. Whether
for an indefinite stay or for short-term rehabilitation after
surgery or illness, we provide a comfortable and comforting home
environment.
Part of this is due to our strong relationship with the Roger
Williams Medical Center. Elmhurst has the distinction of being
the only Elder Care facility in Rhode Island affiliated with a hospital.
Our Elders take comfort in knowing they have easy access to
a broad range of Elder Care professionals that include physicians,
nurses, nurse practitioners, therapists and psychologists.
It’s also due to our unique philosophy of caring for Elders. They aren’t treated like typical nursing
home patients because they’re not. They’re a strong,
vital part of our community and we value their perspectives on
life.
